LINCOLNThe Saltdogs acquired veteran INF Jimmy Rohan, a career .305 hitter, from the El Paso Diablos on Monday, in exchange for RHP Tim Adleman and RHP Drew Graham.

Rohan was batting .368 with two home runs and eight RBI over 10 games for the Diablos this season and will be immediately inserted as the Saltdogs starting second baseman.

The 28-year old from Granada Hills, Calif. hit a career-high .379 with 24 doubles and 58 RBI in 79 games for the Calgary Vipers (North American League) in 2011.

Rohan began his professional career with the Los Angeles Dodgers out of Valencia High School in 2002, reaching Double-A Jacksonville in 2007.

Adleman and Graham will provide solid right-handed relief for a pitching-starved El Paso ballclub which ranks last in the American Association with a 6.28 ERA.
