LINCOLN — In another well-pitched game in the Capital City, the Saltdogs (46-40) were upended by the Rockland Boudlers (42-42) 2-1 in front of 4,767 fans at Haymarket Park Saturday night.
 
Rockland scored a run in the first, and a unearned run in the second to take the early 2-0 lead.
 
Bo Budkevics (1-3) pitched six innings, allowing one run on seven hits to earn the win. Pete Parise (10-6) went eight, surrendering two runs – one earned – on eight hits to suffer the loss. Kevin Fuqua worked the ninth to notch his 17th save.
 
The lone 'Dogs run came in the bottom of the fourth following a Matt Forgatch triple. Bryan Pounds drove him in with a sacrifice fly.
 
Lincoln stranded 11 runners on base, including seven in scoring position.
 
The Saltdogs remain two games behind Gary SouthShore for the wildcard lead, with 14 games left.
