RAMAPO, N.Y. — The Rockland Boulders (30-22) tallied three runs to re-take the lead in the bottom of the third and did not look back in a 7-4 inter-league victory over the Saltdogs (29-29) at Provident Bank Park Friday night.

After Lincoln assumed a 3-2 lead thanks to a two-out Ian Gac RBI single in top of the third, Rockland answered with three on four hits.

The Saltdogs capitalized on a Matt Forgatch triple to cut the deficit to 5-4 in the fourth, but the Boulders would tack on two more in the seventh, on a Jerod Edmondson home run and a Stephen Cardullo RBI double to right.

Greg Terhune (2-5) pitched seven innings, allowing four runs on six hits, striking out nine and walking two to earn the win. Chad Robinson worked a perfect ninth for his sixth save of the year.

Justin Kuks (4-2) went seven, surrendering seven runs on 10 hits to suffer his second loss of the Eastern road trip.

Forgatch finished the series opener 2-for-4 with a triple, RBI single and a stolen base. Gac went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
