Montgomerie was acquired by the Saltdogs on August 13, 2025.

2020-2024:   Did Not Play

2019:   Went 9-3 with a 4.99 ERA for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (A+ LAD).  In 24 appearances, Montgomerie had seven starts striking out 126 batters and walked 59, in 104.2 innings.

2018:   Went 1-1 with a 6.35 ERA in three appearances, with two starts for the Dodgers Arizona League team.  In 5.2 innings, he struck out 11 batters and walked four.  Montgomerie appeared in seven games with four starts for the Great Lakes Loons (A- LAD).  In 31.0 innings, he struck out 36 and walked 21.  Montgomerie went 1-1 for Rancho Cucamonga with a 4.67 ERA in six appearances and three starts.  In 17.1 innings, he struck out 19 and walked 14.

2017:   Montgomerie was 6-3 with a 3.73 ERA in his senior season at UCONN.  In 15 starts, he pitched 89.1 innings, striking out 116 and walked 40.

2016:   Went 6-3 with a 3.04 ERA at UCONN.  In 16 appearances and 14 starts, Montgomerie pitched 74.0 innings, striking out 87 and walked 24.  Pitched for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox, in the Cape Cod League, going 2-2, with a 1.71 ERA.  In seven appearances and four starts, Montgomerie threw 26.1 innings striking out 28 and walked 10.

2015:   Montgomerie was 3-2 with a 4.55 ERA in 11 games and six starts, at UCONN.  In 31.2 innings, Montgomerie struck out 23 and walked 16.  In the summer, Montgomerie was 0-1 with a 2.50 ERA for the Waynesboro Generals in the Valley League.  In three starts he pitched 18.0 innings, striking out 21 and walked seven.

2014:   Appeared in seven games with two starts for the Martha’s Vineyard Sharks, in the Futures Collegiate League, going 2-0 with an 8.20 ERA.  In 18.2 innings, he struck out 13 and walked 11.
