Trey Jones will join the Saltdogs in 2026.  A 6-0, 160-pound right-handed pitcher, Jones went 1-2 with a 6.75 ERA for the Boise Hawks, last season.  Appearing in 14 games, with two starts, Jones also tallied two saves.  In 32.0 innings pitched, Jones recorded 38 strikeouts.  Jones played his college ball at for the Brewton-Parker Barons, in Mount Vernon, Georgia.  In five seasons with the Barons, Jones had 22 starts with four complete games, while recording six saves.

2025:   Jones appeared in 14 games with two starts for the Boise Hawks, in the Pioneer League.  He was 1-2 with a 5.06 ERA.  In 32.0 innings, he struck out 38 batters.

2022:   Played his senior season for the Brewton-Parker Barons in the Southern States Athletic Conference.  In 17 games, he started eight games and went 1-6 with a 6.83 ERA.  In 54.0 innings, he struck out 51 batters.

2021:   Appeared in 16 games for the Barons in his junior season, going 5-6 with a 6.56 ERA in 10 starts with four complete games, one shutout, plus one save.  In 60.1 innings, he struck out 69 batters.  During the summer, Jones played for the Palm Beach Xtreme in the South Florida Collegiate League, going 4-1 with a 1.96 ERA in nine games, with eight starts, pitching 41.1 innings.

2020:   During the abbreviated COVID season, Jones went 1-1 with a 3.52 ERA, for Brewton-Parker.  In five games, he recorded two starts and two saves.  In 15.1 innings pitched, he struck out 17 batters.

2019:   Jones appeared in 21 games with one start, going 3-4 with a 6.03 ERA, along with two saves, while logging 37.1 innings pitched, for the Barons, in his sophomore season.

2018:   In his freshman season for Brewton-Parker, Jones went 1-0, with a 3.90 ERA.  Appearing in 14 games, with one start, Jones recorded one save over 32.1 innings.
