Before: Detroit’s 11th-round pick in 2004, Josh joins the independent ranks after three years in the Tiger’s organization. He started 32 games in his first two years as a pro and then moved to the bullpen last season and made 27 total appearances in Class-A stops at Lakeland (Fla.) and West Michigan. Josh is 12-11 overall with a 3.50 ERA in 59 games as a pro.
