2006: Jay posted career highs with 24 doubles and 10 HR in 2006. He hit homers in consecutive at bats at Sioux City (8/26). Jay hit .340 at Haymarket Park and had a pair of nine game hitting streaks last year. Defensively, he led the American Association third basemen with 21 double plays and was second in assists, 215.

2005: Jay began the 2005 season with Surprise in the Golden League and hit .345 before joining the Saltdogs in August. He had an eight-game hitting streak the final month of the season.
