Jack Cone joins Lincoln after playing in the Pioneer League with the Ogden Raptors in 2024.  A 6’0”, 185-pounder, Cone will provide some pop from the left side of the plate.  Cone hit .344 with 12 home runs and 54 rbi’s for the Raptors, last season.  A native of Fairfax Station, Virginia, Cone played collegiately at James Madison University.

2024: Played for the Ogden Raptors (Ogden, Utah) in the Pioneer League. He batted .344 with 12 home runs and 58 rbi’s in 92 games, earning Mid-Season Pioneer League First-Team All-Star Honors.

2023: Cone finished his college career with the James Madison Dukes, of the Sun Belt Conference, where he batted .325, in 56 games, with five home runs and 29 runs batted in. Cone began playing professionally with the Washington WildThings (Washington, Pennsylvania) of the Frontier League, where he batted .148 in 17 games, with four hits and two rbi’s.

2022: He finished a four-year career at William & Mary, of the Colonial Athletic Association, batting .243 with six home runs and 34 runs batted in, while playing 49 games. During the summer, Cone played for the Vermont Mountaineers (Montpelier, Vermont) of the New England Collegiate Baseball League, batting .234 in 33 games, with three doubles and 14 rbi’s.

2021: Played his third season for William & Mary batting .301 in 33 games with two home runs and 16 runs batted in, for the Tribe. Cone spent the summer with the Bethesda Big Train (Bethesda, Maryland) of the Cal Ripken Collegiate League, batting .325 in 28 games, with one home run and 17 runs batted in.

2020: During the COVID-shortened season at William & Mary, Cone batted .326, in 16 games, with one triple and six runs batted in.

2019: Cone began his collegiate career at William & Mary batting .241, in 54 games, with one home run and 22 rbi’s. In the summer, Cone played for the FCA Braves (Lorton, Virginia) in the Cal Ripken Collegiate League, batting .210, in 28 games, with two home runs and eight rbi’s.
