2006: In 2006. Pichi was named the American Association “Player-of-the-Year” after leading the league with a .378 batting average, 136 hits, and 82 RBI. A career .345 hitter, he had a league-best 22-game hitting streak and collected 43 multi-hit games last year. During a four-game series at Sioux Falls (7/30-8/2), he was 14-18 at the plate with 4 HR and he hit for a cycle on 7/31.
