Barrera will begin his first season of professional baseball with the Lincoln Saltdogs.  The middle infielder and third baseman played four years in college for Cal-State Dominguez Hills.

2025:   Barrera concluded his senior season for the Cal-State Dominguez Hills Toros.  He played in 51 games and batted .270 with five homeruns and 32 runs batted in.

2024:   In his junior season for the Toros, Barrera batted .283, in 48 games, with seven homeruns and 29 runs batted in.

2023:  Playing in 42 games for Cal-State Dominguez Hills, in his sophomore season, Barrera batted .276 with one homerun and 14 runs batted in.

2022:   In his freshman season for the Toros, Barrera played in 54 games, batting .256 with six homeruns and 35 runs batted in.
