Garcia is an experienced ball player who will begin his 19th season of professional baseball in 2026, and first with the Lincoln Saltdogs.  Garcia comes to Lincoln after spending time with three separate teams in the Mexican League in 2025.  2026 will be Garcia’s first season back in the United States, after playing 2019 with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, in the Atlantic League.

2025:   Garcia played 33 games for El Agulia de Veracruz, in the Mexican League, batting .311 with 32 hits and 11 runs batted in.  Defensively for Veracruz, he recorded a .992 fielding percentage with 49 put outs.  He also played 16 games for Caliente de Durango.  He hit .237 with 14 hits and five rbi’s.  Garcia also played 18 games for Leones de Yucatan, batting .164 with nine hits and two rbi’s.  Defensively for Yucatan, he had a .981 fielding percentage with 18 put outs.

2024:   Played in 27 games for Piratas de Campeche, in the Mexican league.  He batted .253 with one homerun and seven runs batted in.  He also played eight games for Tigres de Aragua in the Venezuelan Winter League.  He batted .056 with one hit and four runs scored.  He was a perfect 19-for-19 on defensive chances with five put outs.

2023:   Garcia played in 25 games for Saraperos de Saltillo, in the Mexican League.  He batted .341 with one homerun and 13 runs batted in.  During the winter, Garcia played 31 games for Navegantes del Magallanes, in the Venezuelan Winter League.  He batted .320 with 31 hits and 12 rbi’s.

2022:   Played in 73 games for Olmecas de Tabasco, in the Mexican League.  He batted .289 with four homeruns and 44 runs batted in.  During the winter, he played three games for Aragua, batting .125 and was a perfect 11-for-11 on defensive chances.  Garcia also played 44 games for Magallanes, batting .301 with one homerun and 18 runs batted in.

2021:   Garcia played 55 games for Tabasco, batting .362 with one homerun and 35 rbi’s.  In the winter, he played 32 games for Aragua, batting .255 with 26 hits and 13 runs batted in.

2020:   In the winter, Garcia played 30 games for Aragua, batting .291 with one homerun and 15 runs batted in.

2019:   Garcia played in 136 games for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, in the Atlantic League.  He batted .269 with five homeruns and 52 runs batted in.  During the winter, Garcia spent time with Caribes de Anzoategui, in the Venezuelan Winter League.  He played 10 games, batting .257 with one homerun and six runs batted in.  He also played 30 games for Aragua, batting .306 with 37 hits and 15 runs batted in.

2018:   He played 119 games for the Blue Crabs, batting .288 with three homeruns and 34 runs batted in.  In the winter, Garcia played 42 games for Caribes, batting .250 with 32 hits and eleven runs batted in.

2017:   Garcia played in 134 games for Southern Maryland, batting .260 with three homeruns and 33 runs batted in.  He also played in 44 games, during the winter, for Caribes, batting .245 with 35 hits and eleven rbi’s.

2016:   Played in 26 games for the Round Rock Express, in the Pacific Coast League (Triple-A- TEX).  He batted .165 with 15 hits and six rbi’s.  He also played for the Frisco RoughRiders, in the Texas League (Double-A- TEX).  In 34 games, he batted .250, with 31 hits and nine runs batted in.  During the winter, Garcia played 23 games for Caribes, batting .308 with one homerun and seven runs batted in.

2015:   Garcia played in eight games for Round Rock, batting .200 with four hits, one of which was a triple.  He also played 22 games for Frisco, batting .269 with 21 hits and five rbi’s.  Garcia spent 19 games with the High Desert Mavericks, in the California League (Double-A- TEX), batting .324 with one homerun and eleven runs batted in.  In addition, he played 39 games for the Hickory Crawdads, in the South Atlantic League. (Single A – TEX).  He batted .280 with 44 hits and 15 runs batted in.  During the winter, Garcia played two games for Leones del Caracas, in the Venezuelan Winter League.  He batted .333.  Defensively, he was perfect in two defensive chances, in the outfield.

2014:   He played in 30 games for Frisco, batting .206 with 21 hits and six runs batted in.  Garcia also played in 53 games for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, in the Carolina League (High-A – TEX).  He batted .263 with 52 hits and eleven rbi’s.

2013:   Garcia played in 86 games for Myrtle Beach, batting .263 with two homeruns and 34 runs batted in.

2012:   Played in 79 games for Myrtle Beach, batting .240 with one homerun and 24 runs batted in.  He also played in two games for Hickory, batting .700 with seven hits and two rbi’s.

2011:   Garcia played in one game for Frisco, batting .250 and was perfect defensively in his only chance.  He spent two games with Hickory, batting .500 with three hits and a rbi.  Garcia played 47 games for the Spokane Indians, in the Northwest League (Low-A – TEX).  He batted .276 with two homeruns and 24 runs batted in.

2010:   He played in 94 games for Hickory, batting .229 with two homeruns and 25 runs batted in.

2009:   Garcia played in six games for the Bakersfield Blaze, in the California League (High-A – TEX).  He batted .105 with two hits and a rbi.  He also played three games for Spokane, batting .100 with a double.  Defensively, he was a perfect 12-for-12 and turned three double plays.  Garcia also played 53 games for the Rangers, in the Arizona League.  He batted .265 with 54 hits and 23 runs batted in.

2008:  He began his professional career with Rangers 1, in the Dominican Summer League.  He played in 2 games, batting .292 with 61 hits and 28 runs batted in.
