Freeberger was acquired by the Lincoln Saltdogs on August 14th, 2025.  Freeberger recently played for the Aberdeen Ironbirds (A+ BAL), in the South Atlantic League.

2025:  Appeared in 26 games for the Aberdeen Ironbirds, going 4-2, 6.03 ERA with two saves.  In 34.1 innings, Freeberger struck out 40 and walked 27.

2024:  Pitched in four games for the Delmarva Shorebirds (Low-A BAL), in the Carolina League, going 0-1, 2.70 ERA.  In 3.1 innings, Freeberger struck out six and walked three.  Appeared in 11 games for Aberdeen, going 2-1, 11.70 ERA.  In 10.0 innings, he struck out ten and walked six.

2023:   Appeared in six games in his senior season at UCONN, going 0-0, 5.06 ERA.  In 5.1 innings, he struck out seven and walked one.

2022:   Went 1-2, 3.09 ERA in 11 games, with three saves for UNC-Asheville.  In 11.2 innings, Freeberger struck out 14 and walked six.  Appeared in five games for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox, in the Cape Cod League, going 0-0, with a 7.11 ERA.  In 6.1 innings, he struck out three and walked four.  Pitched in four games for the Fredrick Keys in the MLB Draft League, going 1-0, with an 8.10 ERA, striking out two and walking four.

2021:   Had a 2-1 record with a 4.91 ERA at UNC-Asheville.  In eleven games, he recorded two saves, pitching 11.0 innings, striking out seven and walking eight.

2020:   Put together an 0-1 record with a 16.88 ERA at UNC-Asheville in three games.  Pitched 2.2 innings, striking out four and walking two.

2019:   Pitched in four games in his freshman season at UNC-Asheville, going 0-0, with a 14.73 ERA.  In 3.2 innings, he struck out three and walked six.  Played for the North Shore Navigators in the Futures Collegiate League, appearing in three games, pitching 3.0 innings, striking out five and walking four.
