Calyn Halvorson comes to Lincoln after playing for two independent teams in 2025.  2026 is Halvorson’s third season in professional baseball, for the right-handed hitting outfielder.

2025:   Played in 44 games for the Grand Junction Jackalopes, in the Pioneer League.  He batted .383 with five homeruns and 41 runs batted in.  He also spent time with the Gateway Grizzlies, in the Frontier League.  In three games, Halvorson batted .250, with three hits and one rbi.

2024:   Concluded his collegiate career with the Utah Valley Wolverines, in the Western Athletic Conference.  In 54 games, he batted .295, with ten homeruns and 45 runs batted in.  Halvorson began his professional career with Grand Junction, playing in 67 games and batted .312, with 12 homeruns and 50 runs batted in.

2023:   Halvorson played in 52 games for the Wolverines, in his junior season.  He batted .316, with six homeruns and 44 runs batted in.  During the summer, he played for the Duluth Huskies, in the Northwoods League.  In 49 games, he batted .323 with seven homeruns and 52 runs batted in.

2022:  During the summer, he played for the Cowlitz Black Bears, in the West Coast League.  In 53 games, Halvorson batted .297, with five homeruns and 45 runs batted in.

2021:  Halvorson spent the summer with Duluth, playing in 31 games and batting .261, with one homerun and 25 runs batted in.
